Jack’s Story

Update May 2012- “The birthday cards from ShareaCard arrived and were the highlight of Jack’s birthday! We spent his birthday with a specialist.  The latest scan showed a tumor on Jack’s remaining kidney. The tumor is small and sits on top of his kidney and has infiltrated his other kidney but it has not changed appreciably in size over the last two years. Please thank all of your ShareaCard friends for their thoughtfulness! Their cards were a bright spot in a dreary day!”

Jack has been married for 40 years, is a proud father to two loving sons, and the doting grandfather of two adorable grandsons. He retired due to health problems. He is a veteran, and has been a volunteer cameraman for our local cable TV studio for many years, a volunteer at the polls, and at our senior center.

Comments: He loves Native American art and history, woodworking, wolves, Nature, and Civil War history. His favorite color is blue, and his favorite scents are those of home cooked meals in the oven!
